Stephen Beebe (Treasurer)
Since Mr. Beebe’s retirement in April 2003,
he has served in various capacities with local non-profit
organizations. Currently he is Treasurer and member of
the Executive Board of The Amadeus Concerts, Inc. and
Treasurer and member of the Board of Great Falls Friends.
In addition he is a volunteer at Great Falls National
Park. Prior to Mr. Beebe’s retirement he was a
senior executive with extensive experience as both General
Manager and Chief Financial Officer of several major
international telecommunications companies. From Aug
2001 until March 2003, Mr. Beebe served as CFO and on
the Board of Management for Priority Telecom, a European
regional carrier headquartered in the Netherlands. From
Aug 1998 until May 2000, Mr. Beebe served as Senior VP
for Teleglobe Communications Corp. From February 1996
until July 1998, Mr. Beebe was the VP for Finance for
Global One, a newly formed multi billion dollar Joint
Venture. From 1983 until 1996, Me. Beebe was the
VP for Finance for Sprint International and a predecessor
company, Telenet Communications Corp.
Dr. Sanford Brotman
Retired from private dental practice in Alexandria after 42 years. Dr. Brotman
writes the program notes for the Amadeus concerts, as well as performing
administrative work for our office. His history of community work goes from
the 1960s to the present day, including the Alexandria Dental Clinic, a resettlement
committee for Russian Jewish refugees, Northern Virginia Dental Society Patient
Relations Committee, and assistance with Afghan refugees after the Russian
invasion. Currently he volunteers at the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic,
teaches basic literacy to adults, and is, in his own words, “maybe
the oldest undergraduate (non-degree) at George Mason University.”
Maury Brown (Vice President)
Mr. Brown served the Agency for International Development
as Director of Data Processing and Director of Development
Information. He founded and chaired the International
Network for Development Information Exchange which comprised
more than 90 government and international agencies Since
retirement in 1998 he has been a management consultant
to the World Bank and several private companies working
in international development. He holds undergraduate
and graduate degrees in international relations from
Syracuse University and New York University. Mr. Brown
is a graduate of the Erie (PA) Conservatory of Music
where he studied musical theory and composition. He was
selected as first chair clarinet and saxophone to the
Northwest Pennsylvania District Band two years in succession.
He developed his musical talents into a lifelong avocation,
attending musical performances in many parts of the world.
Mr. Brown joined the Amadeus Board in 2005 and also serves
on the Board of OAR, a non-profit organization providing
rehabilitation services to inmates at the Fairfax Adult
Detention Center. Mr. Brown actively mentors inmates
at that facility.
Donald deLaski (Past President)
graduate of Duke University and George Washington University Law School, was
a C.P.A. in private practice for thirty years. In 1983 he founded Deltek
Systems Inc., a computer software company specializing in government contract
accounting. He was Chairman and C.E.O. for fifteen years and it became the
leading company in its field. In 1998 he and his wife Nancy, started a foundation
focusing on asthma for children in Washington, D.C. Projects with Howard
University Medical School and Kaiser Permanente covered hundreds of uninsured
children in the area. Recently the foundation has strongly supported the
arts with special emphasis on education for youth. Two years ago the de Laskis
were instrumental in starting a very successful summer music camp at George
Mason University. Mr. de Laski serves on the Foundation Board of George Mason
University, is a board member and treasurer of Center for Mind Body Medicine,
and a Board member of The Sitar Center in Washington D.C.

David Fox
Mr. Fox is president of Fox & Associates, International, which provides
consulting services to the public safety and justice community. He is a Senior
Forensic Advisor with the U.S. Department of Justice, International Criminal
Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP). Mr. Fox provides consulting
services in areas that include information technology, data communications,
and forensic sciences, e.g. automated fingerprint information systems (AFIS),
ballistics identification (IBIS), DNA matching (CODIS), questioned documents
and digital photography. Mr. Fox’s activities have included assignments
in Bulgaria, Colombia, Republic of Georgia, and Pakistan. Prior to forming
Fox & Associates, International, Mr. Fox had a 36-year IBM career focused
on assisting public safety and justice agencies worldwide. Mr. Fox is a graduate
of The University of California at Berkeley.
Christophe Gissinger

Timothy Hackman (Secretary)
is a recently retired IBM executive. His 34 year career spanned law and
public affairs activities. He has been an active non-profit volunteer and leader,
including: Senior Warden of his church; a founder of the International
School of Stuttgart (Germany); the incorporator and first Secretary of the
Board of Housatonic Habitat for Humanity (Danbury, CT). In addition to
the Amadeus Concerts, he has devoted numerous hours to volunteer efforts on
hurricane relief, local parks, home building, homeless shelters, outreach,
etc. Tim enjoys classical music, and has sung in choirs almost all his life. He
was also an instrumentalist during his formative years. Tim lives in Great
Falls, and has an electrical engineering degree from Bucknell University and
a law degree from Yale University.

Edward Kelly
Mr. Kelly is currently a consultant with the Hay Group,
a global human resources management consulting firm.
Before joining the Hay Group, he had over 30 years
of professional experience at the federal, state, and
local levels, with international organizations, a non-profit
trade association, and in the private sector. He has
also held adjunct teaching appointments at universities
in New England. Mr. Kelly has been in elected leadership
positions at the local and regional levels of one of
his professional societies and at the neighborhood
commission level of a local government. He has won
awards from the federal government for his work in
historic preservation and urban design and from one
of his professional societies for the design of a new
federal program. Mr. Kelly has an undergraduate degree
in Architecture from the University of Notre Dame and
a graduate degree in Urban Planning from Harvard University.
Mr. Kelly has had a life-long interest in classical
music: in addition to his membership on the Board of
Amadeus Concerts, he and his wife have been active
supporters, volunteers, and donors for many years.
Jennifer
Murphy (President)
Mrs. Murphy is Assistant Vice President for Research & Economic Development/Director
of Technology Transfer at George Mason University. She is also the Executive
Director of George Mason Intellectual Properties, Inc.(GMIP), a non-profit corporation
established to manage the university’s intellectual property. Ms. Murphy
has been an enthusiastic supporter of and donor to the Amadeus Concerts for many
years. She has served on the Board of Directors for three years. She is an active
volunteer and lay eucharistic minister at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Great
Falls where she was Senior Warden from 1991 to 1993. Currently she chairs the
Stewardship Committee at St. Francis.
Jillian Poole
Ms. Poole, CEO, Fund for Arts & Culture in Central & Eastern Europe,
has a wide background in institutional development for museum and performing
arts organizations, government liaison, and nonprofit management including
public relations and fundraising. For nineteen years she was responsible for
planning and executing the development programs of the John F. Kennedy Center
for the Performing Arts, a responsibility that ultimately included its partner
The National Symphony Orchestra. Prior to that, she held a similar position
at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. She was also Adjunct Professor
of Arts Management in the graduate school of the American University for 16
years. She has been retained as consultant to a variety of cultural organizations.
Mark Servis

Roger Sudduth
has been a Virginia resident for over 30 years. He with his wife Christal,
married for 52 years, reside at 511 Arnon Lake Drive, Great Falls, VA. He
is the President of a Service Disabled, Veteran Owned, Small business Enterprise
known as Secure Computing and Communications, Inc. with an interest in information
assurance. He is also an employee of EMC, a large data storage company.
Both he and his wife have been long time supporters of Amadeus Concerts. Currently,
he is serving as President of the organization. Sudduth is also the
Dranesville representative on the Fairfax County Public Library Board of
Trustees, a post he has held for over ten years. Roger Sudduth served in
the U.S. Navy for 22 years, retiring as a Captain in 1975. The couple have
three children.
