Mezzo‑soprano Elizabeth Mondragon performs a wide range of repertoire, from opera and art song to musical theater and oratorio. She has sung principal roles including Carmen, Rosina, Penelope, and Dido and appeared as soloist in works such as Verdi’s Requiem, Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, and Mozart’s Mass in C minor. Mondragon is an avid recitalist, appearing at venues like Weill Recital Hall and the New York Arts Society, and co‑directs the D.C. Metro chapter of Opera on Tap. Passionate about new music, she regularly premieres contemporary works and maintains a long‑term collaboration with composer David Sisco.
