Jennifer Wade

Jennifer Wade is an Arlington native who returned to the area in 2001 after completing her studies at Vanderbilt University’s Blair School of Music, where she received the prestigious Branscomb Award for overall excellence. In 2009, she co-founded the Prelude Youth Orchestra Program and later earned the American String Teachers’ Association’s 2012–2013 Director of the Year Award for Virginia. An active educator and freelance performer, she has taught at Levine School summer chamber music programs, judged regional competitions, and performed with ensembles including the National Philharmonic, American Pops Orchestra, Richmond Symphony, Alexandria Symphony, and Maryland Symphony.
