Matt Richardson

Matt Richardson is a freelance violinist in the Metro-DC area and Professor of Violin at Randolph-Macon College in Richmond, Virginia. He performs regularly with ensembles including the Richmond Symphony Orchestra, National Philharmonic, New Orchestra of Washington, Williamsburg Symphony, Maryland Lyric Opera, and Alexandria Symphony Orchestra, and has also appeared with numerous other regional orchestras and opera companies. A dedicated chamber musician, he is a founding member of the 9th Street Quartet, the faculty Quartet-in-Residence at the 9th Street Chamber Music Program in Northern Virginia.
