Amadeus Concerts is dedicated to enhancing the
enjoyment, understanding, and accessibility of fine music
in Northern Virginia.
The Arts Council of Fairfax County calls us "a valued arts organization with a strong mission, high-quality concerts, and quality artistic programming..."
Under the direction of Artistic Director A. Scott Wood, who conducts the Amadeus Orchestra, the concert series features professional musicians performing solo, ensemble, and orchestral works. We also present education and outreach programs designed to reach new audiences.
We maintain reasonable admission fees in order to encourage attendance by families and seniors. Students under 18 years of age may attend all our concerts free of charge.
While featuring internationally renowned musicians, Amadeus also provides support to young artists at the thresholds of their careers.
